Manufactured in the USA by Magic-Flight, the Magic Flight Launch Box (MFLB) is one of the most popular portable vaporizers amongst vape enthusiasts.
I’ve had my MFLB for about three months now, and getting started with it is really simple. All you need to do is the following:
How to Use
- Fill the bowl with finely ground herb, and make sure not to pack it tight, instead simply let the herb lay loosely.
- Push your battery all the way into the unit
- Take a long, slow drag for about 10-12 seconds, and then make sure to take out the battery.
- Stir the bowl, and use a fresh battery to take another hit. You will know when a bowl is finished when it begins to turn a dark brown color and no longer produces vapor.
The unit itself is constructed out of quality wood, metal, and plastic parts, and it feels very durable. I have yet to experience any issues in durability, and I can imagine that as long as the unit is kept clean it will continue to function well.
The one aspect in which the MFLB excels is stealth and portability. The MFLB’s electronic heat source has no problem, it is extremely discreet and I’ve been able to use it in a number of places where I would never normally be able to vaporize.
However, there are a few downsides. The first major one is that you must recharge the MFLB batteries after each use. This can make sharing with friends difficult unless you have a few batteries to go around, and even more difficult if people want to take multiple hits. Finally, in my experience the MFLB produces smaller vapor hits than what I can achieve by using my Vaporgenie.
Overall, the MFLB is a great portable and stealthy vaporizer which is great to use for what it was designed for. However, if you plan to vaporize frequently or with groups of friends, then I recommend taking a look at the less portable Extreme Q instead.
