cannabis vaporizerAs I’ve mentioned in previous posts, vaping cannabis has been exploding in popularity recently, and a Canadian doctor has spoken out in favor of vaporizers as a healthier alternative to traditional smoking methods. In the article on MSN, the doctor states that

“I think it’s still trending up in that a lot of people aren’t really aware of the health benefits of vapourizing, or at least the harm reduction aspects of it,” says Dr. Ian Mitchell,  an emergency physician and clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. “But I think it’s inevitably coming, as much because of the medical marketplace as the institutional use.”

I’m glad that some doctors are finally starting to realize the advantages that vaporizing has over smoking (I’ve championed a number of these benefits in past articles here on Vaporblog!), and I hope that more and more doctors begin recommending (and possibly even prescribing) the use of vaporizers to all medical marijuana patients. Although I fully support the use of cannabis vaporizers outside as well as in private indoor spaces, I definitely agree that we will need to decide how to move forward in terms of legislating use in public settings for medical patients who need access to their relief.
