When I founded Vaporblog in early 2012, I had already been vaporizing since 2009 and my goal was to create a no-nonsense blog where people could find out about cannabis vaporizers as well as how to keep them operating at maximum efficiency. Since its humble beginnings, Vaporblog has grown by leaps and bounds in 2014, especially with the explosion in popularity of vaporizers (see my post on Action Bronson and this NYPost article). As cannabis prohibition continues to crumble worldwide, I only foresee the vaping scene growing larger, and I’m excited that Vaporblog is at the forefront of this exciting world!
Lately I’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback from readers via e-mail, and as Vaporblog’s audience grows, I’ve felt the pressure to focus as much of my energy on Vaporblog as possible (and have been making lifestyle changes to reflect this). Normally I’ve been aiming for posting an article per week, but I’ve now found myself with a backlog of reviews and other articles, so I’m going to be increasing my posting frequency, aiming for 2-3 posts per week. I’ve also been working hard keeping up to date with the hottest new products and industry developments so that readers can be up to date on the best products currently out there. For example, when I first started Vaporblog, concentrates were much rarer than they are now, and vape pens hadn’t really been developed yet.
Another important thing I have in the works this summer is that I’ve been planning a trip to Colorado for late August in order to chronicle the latest developments in the legal cannabis industry. I’ve been in talks with several different cannabis tour companies (as well as other cannabis related businesses), and my goal is to document my trip in a series of articles and photo essays here on Vaporblog. Because Colorado has a wide range of products that I don’t always have access to (including wax, O.Pens, and other cool stuff), I’ll be able to write hands on reviews as well as give readers who are living in non-legalized places a glimpse of what the future of legal cannabis and high quality vaporization technologies will look like!
If you’re a business located in Colorado (preferably Denver, but I would love to visit other parts of the state!) and have a product or service related to cannabis (tour company, organic grow operation, product manufacturer, vapor lounge, etc), don’t hesitate to contact me so we can see about arranging a meetup. I would love to come back from my trip with pictures and articles and post them here on Vaporblog!
